Missionaries Michael and Heather Chowning are reaching Siberia with the gospel of Christ and through Speed the Light we can help them!

Their goal is to plant 1000 churches over the next 10 years and to do that they need a sturdy 4×4 vehicle. With how rugged Siberia is it’s essential to have reliable transportation and we can help meet their need!

This September and October FSM students will be working to raise $10,000 to help buy that vehicle. Pastor Dan is kicking things off with his 250 mile bike ride Sept 10-15. There is the annual Chili Cookoff/Brownie Bakeoff coming up on October 14 and an aluminum drive going on in the month of September as well as a variety of fundraisers students will be participating to help us reach our goal!

Feel free to check out the video or click on this link to find out more about what the Chownings are doing to reach the 36 million people of Siberia that have never heard the name of Jesus.

Spencer Lake Summer Camp
May 2011 04

This summer, buses will be packed with sleeping bags and gung-ho students en route to Spencer Lake in Waupaca for the best week of the year!

Of course we’re talking about Summer Camp 2011, which is all about God, great times with friends, and lots of fun! Campers can look forward to volleyball, basketball, speedball, swimming, hanging out at the snack stand, breaking up into color teams for fun competition, and much more. Students can also look forward to connecting with God and each other. The evening worship services are powerful and cabin devotion time is an opportunity to share what God has been speaking to each person.

Each age group has its own week of camp. How is each student’s designated week determined? Simply by the grade they’ll be entering in the fall.
